Femap Flow is a fluid analysis solver that is used as an add-on to Femap. Customers who are currently using Femap and wish to conduct fluid analysis can do so by adding it to their existing Femap environment, allowing them to perform fluid analysis using the Femap GUI. 【Features】 Not only can fluid analysis be performed, but by using Femap's GUI and model files, structural-fluid coupled analysis with NX Nastran can also be easily conducted. Additionally, by adding the Femap add-on thermal analysis software, Thermal, thermal-fluid coupled analysis can also be easily performed. 【Application Examples】 ○ Steady-state and unsteady fluid analysis are possible. ○ Analysis considering viscosity and compressibility is possible for liquid and gas layers at sonic speeds (up to Mach 4). ○ Modeling of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids is possible. ○ Turbulence models such as the FTV model, Mixing Length model, and k-ε model can be utilized. ○ Periodic boundary conditions can be modeled. ○ Fans can be defined not only at boundary surfaces but also in flow injection. ◎ For more detailed information, please refer to the catalog or contact us directly.
